About

Robert Clark, BS, Workforce Program Assistant

Robert Clark (he/him), plays several roles as PowerTools’ Workforce Program Assistant. He works closely with our Program Manager, Abby Lovett-Uddin, to assist with logistical and structural aspects of the BlocPower Civilian Climate Corps (CCC) workforce development program. He further supports the CCC Career Readiness Directors in both the Bronx and Brooklyn, ensuring they have the resources, assistance, and support they need to best prepare the members for success in the workforce.

When not working within the CCC program, Robert collaborates with PowerTools’ Executive Director in her facilitation work with our school clients, particularly in Social Emotional (Academic) Learning and school Culture and Climate. Robert’s BS in Organizational Management lends itself to supporting our partner/clients to enhance their effectiveness and environments for youth and adults.

Robert has a history of helping others that began when he was incarcerated at the NYS Department of Corrections. While incarcerated, Robert facilitated multiple programs that helped other incarcerated individuals obtain their higher education and more deeply develop a sense of self- and social awareness. Robert obtained his Associates in Liberal Arts and Science From Nyack College and most recently his Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management at Alliance University.
