Mette Loulou von Kohl (she/her) is an Executive Assistant at PowerTools, supporting PowerTools’ Executive Director, coordinating events, researching, writing, designing outreach and Presentations, and acting as thought partner with our consultants.

In addition to working at PowerTools, Mette Loulou is an educator, facilitator and artist dedicated to popular education, art-making and storytelling in service of justice and social change. She has worked with young people in New York City, using performance-making to explore topics of violence prevention, conflict transformation and healthy relationships. She also designs and facilitates workshops on social justice pedagogy and leadership development for young women and gender-nonconfroming youth of color. Mette Loulou received her Bachelors from Bard College in Theatre and Gender & Sexuality Studies, and her Masters from The University of London, Goldsmiths College, in Applied Theatre.
