J. Michael McMurphy, mba, director of marketing and Employee Experience

has over 30 years of experience in marketing, business development and branding. He has led numerous branding initiatives with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), two AmLaw 100 law firms (Blank Rome and Squire Patton Boggs),  as well as several consumer and technology companies. Mike has also initiated and led several client experience programs to institutionalize client feedback as a critical component of client and business development. In particular, the repositioning of PwC offered him the opportunity to oversee an internal change management program that altered the way 180,000 employees communicated and presented the brand across the globe. This has fostered an evolving passion for organizational and leadership development in helping individuals and teams achieve their full potential.

Mike began his professional life in advertising after earning an MBA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. He spent nearly 20 years in account management at global advertising agencies such as Bates Worldwide, Saatchi, Grey and DDB. He has lectured at New York City College of Technology, Columbia University, NYU Stern Business School, and INSEAD as well as spoken at Kellogg events. He recently received a certificate in facilitation from the Association of Talent Development.
