Alyssa Rivera, Executive Assistant

 
 

Alyssa Rivera (She/Her) is PowerTools’ Executive Assistant. Alyssa is in charge of PowerTools’ administrative aspects to help keep the office flow and systems moving smoothly. Alyssa works as the Executive Director’s right hand person to manage the company’s infrastructure, finances, and customer relations. 

Alyssa also helps manage youth interns who work with PowerTools during their summer and school year. By facilitating activities, supporting their work flow, and offering feedback and support, she allows them to build on their individual growth as they transition to the world of work. 

Alyssa is highly motivated by her passion to inspire others to never give up on their futures. Alyssa is committed to her work and puts her best foot forward to get the best result in everything she does. She was born and raised in Hawaii and moved to New York in August of 2014. Since then she has experienced numerous challenges and has faced them head on. Alyssa has a wide experience in many different industries such as insurance, green energy, and renewable resources. At college Alyssa specialized in Hospitality Management at the City College of Technology. With her vast knowledge and experience within her Leadership, Customer Service and Marketing roles, she is a backbone for the entire team.
